“I learned a great deal at Juventus, especially on a tactical level,” the young forward told the Bundesliga website.

“Aside from that, I also got the chance to train alongside world stars like Carlos Tevez, Paul Pogba and Gigi Buffon, but now I am happy to be at Bayern Munich.

“The attacking style of the squad is much more suited to me and I feel more at ease. I think I can make more of my potential here.”

Coman joined on a two-year loan with option to buy, while Juve also have a counter-option.

He returns to the Juventus Stadium tonight as an opponent, albeit most likely from the bench.

“We must remain solid. Joshua Kimmich and David Alaba have done great work in defence recently. We must help them as much as possible, but I am confident we can get a positive result in Turin.

“I think Juve’s defence is their greatest strength, but they also have a lot of potential in attack and midfield, because Pogba, Sami Khedira and Juan Cuadrado are unpredictable.”
