Even so, ambition in the capital has not diminished.
“We believe we can win the Scudetto,” Cole has stated on ‘I Signori del Calcio’ on Sky.
“We have an excellent team, and the right mentality in the dressing room.
“As long as we don’t come up against people who give penalties for fouls outside the box…”
Cole joined the capital club in the summer on a free transfer from Chelsea, but has been linked with a move to MLS in recent days.
