Stefano Colantuono assures he was not scared of losing the Udinese bench after today’s 2-0 win over Verona.

The Friulani were hovering just above the relegation zone and this week President Giampaolo Pozzo said he wouldn’t change his Coach only because there “weren’t any better options” out there.

“Well, find me a Coach who hasn’t been debated this season. Maybe only Maurizio Sarri and Roberto Mancini,” shrugged Colantuono on Sky Sport Italia.

“When the standings get crammed up like this the President gets scared and tries to put more pressure on us to deliver, but our chats have always been perfectly calm.

“I exchange opinions with the President three or four times a week. The club works in an impeccable manner. We worked a little more this week trying to get us fired up to win this important game.

“I’d say Antonio Di Natale has been fundamental and the only reason he hasn’t played more is a few injury issues. You just need to look at the assist he gave for Emmanuel Badu’s goal today.”
