Rasmus Hojlund has decided to prioritise Manchester United over Paris Saint-Germain and Atalanta are now keen for a deal to be finalised, Gianluca Di Marzio details.

The 20-year-old Danish forward is the Red Devils’ number one target to bolster their frontline this summer and talks have been ongoing with la Dea for a number of works.

Hojlund joined Atalanta from Sturm Graz last summer in a deal worth around €17.2m and has four years left on his contract with the Bergamo outfit, giving them a comfortable position for negotiations.

As detailed by Di Marzio, Atalanta are asking for €80m including add-ons for Hojlund and Manchester United are confident that a deal can be agreed for €70m plus add-ons.

This week is expected to be the decisive one and la Dea are now waiting for a formal offer to be sent in, with the hope being to finalise everything by the weekend.

PSG are also interested in signing Hojlund and they’ve offered a higher salary to the Dane than Manchester United, but the 20-year-old would prefer to join the Red Devils.
