Milan have opened talks with Juventus to start exploring a move for left back Luca Pellegrini, Alfredo Pedulla reports.

The Rossoneri are working to sell Fode Ball-Toure this summer, keen to bring in a new backup option for Theo Hernandez. Nice, Bologna and Fulham have all been linked to the Senegalese defender, but no deal has been agreed yet.

Milan have already been incredibly active in the summer transfer window, preparing to welcome Samuel Chukwueze in addition to their other six signings – Marco Sportiello, Luka Romero, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic, Noah Okafor and Tijjani Reijnders.

As reported by Pedulla, Milan have been in contact with Juventus to sound out a move for Pellegrini, believing he could be a good fit for Stefano Pioli’s squad.

The 24-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Lazio, who are keen to bring him back, but the club are currently focusing their efforts on other targets, leaving him in limbo.
