Sevilla midfielder Luca Cigarini has ruled out a proposed January move to struggling Serie A side Brescia.

The two parties have been paired in recent weeks as the relegation-threatened side look for New Year reinforcements.

However, the former Under-21 international insists he'll see out the season in Spain following his loan move from Napoli.

"I haven't had any contact with Brescia," said the playmaker. "I just want to do well for Sevilla until next June.

"I'm staying here until the end of the season then, seeing as I am only here on loan, I will go back to Napoli before assessing what to do next.

"Napoli? They are a great team and I got on well with my teammates, the club and the city itself," he continued.

"I had to leave, but I don't regret my experience with Napoli and it would be a pleasure to rejoin them."

Juventus and Genoa have also been linked with the former Atalanta player.
