“Chivu won’t retire,” Victor Becali told calciomercato.it. “He will continue to play his football in the shirt of Inter.

“We’ll see how he is after he returns [from America] following surgery on his foot. His focus is to recover well from injury.”

The former Ajax and Roma player, now 32, is contracted to the Beneamata until June 2014 after signing a new two-year deal last summer.
