Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua have reportedly upped their contract offer for Roma winger Stephan El Shaarawy to €16m a season.
Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, put out that the offer was €8m after tax over four years.
However, the newspaper have now issued an update, claiming Shenhua have revised their proposal to €16m net, albeit over two less years.
