Federico Chiesa will stay with the Italy squad after tests ruled out a thigh injury for the Fiorentina winger.

Italy and Fiorentina were made to sweat over Chiesa’s fitness on Tuesday evening after it emerged he had picked up a muscle problem.

However, Sky Sport Italia reports the first round of tests showed only a ‘slight strain’, keeping him in the squad for Euro 2020 qualifiers against Finland and Liechtenstein.
