Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa has revealed that his ‘dream’ is to win silverware with Italy as opposed to a club side.
Chiesa has broken into the Italy squad at just 21 years of age, and the attacker harbours ambitions of being successful for his country, despite interest from Champions League teams and domestic giants.
“Growing up I played for a football school in Florence called Settignanese, but I joined Fiorentina when I was 10,” he told Tuttosport.

“Growing up I played for a football school in Florence called Settignanese, but I joined Fiorentina when I was 10,” he told Tuttosport.
“My best day as a player? There have been many, but certainly the day of my debut in Serie A was unforgettable.
“It was the first day of the season and we played Juventus in Turin. It was really exciting.
“Dreams? I have many, but it would be great to win a big trophy with the national team.”
Chiesa is the son of former Parma and Fiorentina star Enrico, so what else is there to know about Federico the person?
“I love being with my friends and family,” he explained.
“Even if I don’t have much time, I really enjoy playing on the PlayStation. I often challenge my brother and we always have great battles.”
