Italian papers insist Juventus won’t sell Paul Pogba to Chelsea even for €150m (£109m).

The British media continue to maintain the Stamford Bridge side is desperate to get Pogba and sending more and more offers to Turin.

The Daily Express even claimed this weekend that the player requested a contract worth £82.5m over five years.

“Hopefully I can bring one player in. Hopefully,” said manager Jose Mourinho.

“But we are not in trouble. We are not desperate. We are not panicking because the transfer window closes in a couple of days.

“If we get him, we get him. If not, we don't. But for a perfect shape of the squad, one more player would give us a good balance.”

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport is adamant Juventus will not budge for their 22-year-old talent.

Pogba was given the Number 10 jersey after Carlos Tevez left for Boca Juniors, a symbolic shirt that represents his importance to the team.

Having reached the Champions League Final and won four consecutive Scudetto titles, Juve do not represent a step below Chelsea.
