Chelsea have reportedly offered €33m with €5m bonuses for Antonio Rudiger, enough to make Roma seriously consider accepting.

The Giallorossi had taken Rudiger off the market, but with the collapse of Kostas Manolas’ move to Zenit, they’ll have to find fresh funds from elsewhere.

According to Il Tempo, the proposal on the table from Chelsea is over €30m.

Sky Sport Italia are more specific and cite the sum of €33m (£28.9m) plus another €5m (£4.3m) in incentives.

This is a figure that Roma would potentially accept, though it remains to be seen if the German international can also agree personal terms.

Still only 24 years old, the powerful centre-back was signed from VfB Stuttgart in 2015 for a total €13m.
