Chelsea have reportedly offered €4m to get Maurizio Sarri, but Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is insisting on the full €8m.

The Coach has been replaced by Carlo Ancelotti, but he’s still under contract until 2020, with a release clause which is valid until the end of this month.

Until he is released from that deal he cannot sign for another club, despite already having an agreement with the Blues.

Now the Corriere dello Sport is reporting that the English side offered €4m to get Sarri, which was immediately rejected by the Partenopei.

The Coach earns a relatively low salary of around €1.5m per season, so De Laurentiis is quite happy to play hardball and risk having two Coaches on the wage bill.
