Simone Inzaghi will look to Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez against Real Madrid with Alessandro Bastoni returning to the starting XI.

The Nerazzurri host Real Madrid in the opening match of the Champions League Group D at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza tonight.

It kicks off at 20.00 UK time.

Bastoni was rested against Sampdoria on Sunday after sustaining a slight injury while on international duty.

However, medical examinations ruled out any lesion for the Italian defender who will return to the Inter line-up tonight.

Stefano Sensi is out of action with a knee injury sustained over the weekend.

Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez will start up front with Nicolò Barella, Marcelo Brozovic and Hakan Calhanoglu in the middle of the park.

David Alaba will start at centre-back for the La Liga giants with Eden Hazard, Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema up front.

  1. Tough one to call. Both have dropped in quality.
It’ll be interesting to see if Inzaghi outdoes Conte in Europe. Surely he can’t be any worse?
A win would be great, and a draw decent.
