Cesena have admitted that clubs are interested in Marco Parolo and Antonio Candreva – but no official bids have been made for them.

“A lot of clubs like them and they both deserve to play for a big team,” Cesena sporting director Lorenzo Minotti told TMW.

“There is strong interest in Candreva from both Fiorentina and Napoli, but we’ve not started any official transfer talks for either player.”

Former Parma defender Minotti admitted earlier this week that Fiorentina, Lazio and Cagliari were keen on Parolo.

The latter, who will be 27 later this month, was a revelation in his first Serie A season last term.

Candreva, meanwhile, joined the Seahorses in the summer on a loan deal from Udinese after temporary spells at Juventus and Parma.

There were suggestions that Candreva could move to Napoli this month in an exchange with Mario Alberto Santana this month.

“We’ve been following Santana since the summer, but it will be hard to get him – as would a swap with Candreva,” Minotti concluded.
