Alessio Cerci could be in line for a return to Torino after talks between the pair reportedly commenced on Wednesday.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Torino President Urbano Cairo and Cerci’s agent Federico Pastorello met “to test the waters” in regards to a possible deal.
The attacker is available on a free transfer after being released by Atletico Madrid last week.
He had his best years at Torino, scoring 21 goals in 71 appearances for the Granata between 2012 and 2014, before his €15m switch to Atleti.
