Sassuolo and Atalanta remain the frontrunners to sign Inter forward Andrea Pinamonti but could face competition from the Premier League, according to reports in Italy.

The 23-year-old enjoyed an impressive loan spell with Empoli last season and is expected to leave Inter on a permanent basis as the Nerazzurri look to raise funds.

Several clubs across Serie A would be interested in his services if reports in the Italian media are to be believed.

But Il Corriere dello Sport report there is also interest from the Premier League with newly promoted Nottingham Forest considering a bid.

The two-times European champions would likely be in a position to outbid any of their Serie A rivals should they decide to make a bid.

Atalanta, the report adds, must first offload Luis Muriel before progressing with their interest in Pinamonti, while Sassuolo need to resolve Giacomo Raspadori’s future. The 22-year-old is a reported Juventus and Napoli target.

  1. It’s so irritating that we’re selling someone so cheap when we compare the value of Scamacca, but more than that we need squad depth with Sanchez leaving and Pina is surely better than Dzeko now… yet we’ll let him go… we are in trouble this season, just gotta hope the everyone stays fit, and at least in the engine room we have cover.

  2. So he won’t join Salernitana or Monza but will join ‘forest’ who will be back in the championship by the end of the season. This site is a FL fan boy site
