The two nations face off in tomorrow’s crucial Group D match in the knowledge that the loser will be out of the tournament, though a draw will be enough for the Azzurri to progress.
“Cavani and Suarez are one of the strongest strike pairs in the World Cup,” Prandelli said at a Press conference today.
“They are two modern forwards, they now how to attack the penalty area like few others.
“They have an eye for goal and we will need to do well to limit them.”
The former Fiorentina boss then called on his team to believe they can secure the required result in Natal.
“I’ve told the boys to believe in qualification with maximum confidence. We can’t have excuses after the match. We are determined to win the match.
“We have recovered energy physically and I am convinced we are ready for this match on the mental side too.
“We need to overcome all of the difficulty and give everything that we have. Everything.”
