Edinson Cavani’s agent said he was “sorry Napoli fans waited in vain for him, but it proves how much affection they still have.”

Reports emerged on Canale 21 last night that the Paris Saint-Germain striker was staying at the Hotel Vesuvio, suggesting he was preparing a transfer back to his former club.

Dozens of fans waited outside the hotel at 3am to see their hero, but there is no evidence he was there.
