However, they do have a chance to lift some silverware in the Italian Cup Final in Rome on Sunday 20 May.
“It’s a game that is worth the entire season,” Cavani, suspended for last night’s win against Siena, told Il Mattino.
“We are taking on a great team like Juventus, the new Italian champions, and we will give it our very best.
“We deserve to be in the Final and we want to win it. Lifting that trophy would cap off an extraordinary campaign.”
