Catania President Antonio Pulvirenti has admitted that Francesco Lodi is 'irreplaceable' to the Elefanti.

The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to Milan this summer, but the owner of the Sicilian side has conceded that they haven't received any offers for the midfielder.

“Lodi is irreplaceable,” he told itasportpress.it. “Apart from Milan in January, we have so far not received any offers.

“All these rumours are just a disturbance.”

Lodi was virtually ever-present for Rolando Maran's men last season, playing 33 matches and scoring six goals.
