Mariano Andujar “has played his final game for Catania,” confirmed general manager Pietro Lo Monaco following a huge row.

The Argentina international goalkeeper has not been included for the club’s winter training camp in Malta.

“Andujar has played his final game for Catania,” Lo Monaco told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

According to the rumours, the reason for the split is a blazing row between Andujar and Lo Monaco after the 3-3 draw with Parma at the Stadio Tardini.

It is reported Andujar will leave Serie A and is most likely to find himself a club in Greece.

Pablo Ledesma is also out of the Malta trip, as he is expected to join Boca Juniors, while David Suazo has remained behind to work on a personalised training regime.

“Maxi Lopez will leave and we’ll see what happens in the next few days. He has offers from Italy and abroad,” Lo Monaco told Radio Marte.

“As for Giuseppe Mascara, he is a Napoli player and I don’t think there is any chance of seeing him back in Catania, partly due to his wages. In the past he made a choice that gave him a step up in economic terms.

“It’s not true that Napoli requested Marco Biagianti. He is our captain and he’s not moving.”
