Italy Under-21 international Cataldi grew up in the Lazio youth academy and is a lifelong fan of the Biancocelesti.

He looks set for his first start in a Derby della Capitale, as injuries rule out Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Dusan Basta, Stefan Radu, Ricardo Kishna, Abdoulay Konko, Stefan de Vrij and suspended Senad Lulic.
