Luca Castellazzi says he’s ready to stay at Italian giants Inter – even if he is relegated to third-choice goalkeeper.
Castellazzi is presently the No 2 behind Julio Cesar, but only because Emiliano Viviano damaged knee ligaments in pre-season and is recovering from injury.

Castellazzi is presently the No 2 behind Julio Cesar, but only because Emiliano Viviano damaged knee ligaments in pre-season and is recovering from injury.
There were suggestions that the custodian would look for a summer exit if he dropped down the pecking order, but he insists that is not true.
“I’ve never said that I would not accept a third-choice role,” the former Sampdoria player underlined.
“Evidently when Viviano returns from injury then the Coach will have to make his decision. But the club know what to do and, even if I’m 37, I’m in good physical shape.”
The ex-Brescia shot-stopper is only contracted to the Beneamata until June 2012, but he’s optimistic that he will remain.
“I’m calm about the situation,” he added. “The club have given me some reassurances that they are happy with what I have given when asked to play.
“I don’t know when the renewal offer will come, but I’m not worried about it.
“I think the club have momentarily put all contract discussions to one side for now as there are more urgent matters to deal with.
“We’ll see what happens further down the line.”
Castellazzi, who has played in three Serie A games this term, joined Inter on a free in the summer of 2010.
