Luca Castellazzi expects his contract at Italian giants Inter to be extended by another 12 months.

The goalkeeper, 36, is only presently tied to the outfit until June, but his agent believes a new agreement will be found.

“For now everything is at a standstill,” representative Adriano Rebuffi told FC Inter News in an interview.

“I think that we’ll meet with Inter during the spring, but I don’t think that there will be any problems in an extension until June 2013.”

Castellazzi joined the Nerazzurri in 2010 after five years at Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”9″>Sampdoria.

The custodian has again been promoted to second choice at San Siro, behind Julio Cesar, after Italian international Emiliano Viviano left the club.

The latter joined Palermo this month after the Rosanero bought a half-share in his contract for €5m.

Castellazzi has made three Serie A appearances and featured in two Champions League games so far this term.
