Leandro Castan is “ready to get started” with Sampdoria, and wants to return to the Brazilian national team.
The centre-back has joined the Blucerchiati on loan from Roma, and spoke to reporters after his first training session.
“I’m ready to get started, and I’m at Sampdoria because people have spoken well of this team, especially Dodo,” Castan explained.

“I’m ready to get started, and I’m at Sampdoria because people have spoken well of this team, especially Dodo,” Castan explained.
“I’m here to play and return to the Seleçao. It’s time to work, and we’ll see what happens in the end. I want to do well and repay all the trust that’s been shown in me.
“My goal is to get back to playing, hoping that it’ll be a good season for everyone.”
