“Now I must prove that I can get back to the player I was. It’s my first game, so I am excited and hope for the best.

“Looking back over everything I went through, I thank God for giving me strength that I didn’t know I had. Now I’ll try to put that same determination on to the field.

“To win the Scudetto you have to win every game and we know it’s not easy against Verona, but we have to get points everywhere and our squad has strengthened.”
