The Gialloblu signed the forward from Inter during the off-season, and the Crociati chief has admitted that the Italy international has been superb since joining.
“Cassano is a luxury that we had to take,” he told the club’s official website. “It is a source of pride and satisfaction to have him here.
“He is comparable to the stars of our past, our former champions.
“We hope to have him here for many years to come.”
