Palermo have confirmed that they may be willing to sell Mattia Cassani amidst interest from Lazio.

The capital club have targeted the Italian international as a replacement for the Juventus-bound Stephan Lichtsteiner.

"I thought [Lazio President Claudio] Lotito was joking to start with, but, if he's serious then we will see," Rosanero chief Maurizio Zamparini told Radio Radio.

"I'll be having a meeting with Coach Stefano Pioli and my staff tomorrow night to evaluate everything," added Zamparini.

"From that we'll see which players are available for sale and which players won't be allowed to leave this summer.

"I'll also talk to Cassani," the Stadio Barbera official continued. "He's been here for four or five years and he may want a new experience."

Lazio are expected to net around €10m from Juve for their Swiss right-back, but it's unclear how much Cassani will cost.

"I have no idea how much his value is because he wasn't one of the players set to be sold," concluded Zamparini.
