Marco Carnesecchi is continuing to shine at Atalanta and he recently switched his agents amidst interest from Juventus.

The 23-year-old Italian shot stopper again stood out for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side in their 3-0 win over Sassuolo, making a few key saves and stopping Andrea Pinamonti’s penalty just before the end of the first half.

Once linked to Lazio, Carnesecchi decided to move forward with Atalanta to continue his development and his overtaking of Juan Musso in Gasperini’s pecking order has justified his decision, showing his growth in the topflight.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Carnesecchi recently decided to switch agents from his long-term representative Augusto Carpeggiani to Alessandro Lucci’s World Soccer Agency, hinting at his future plans.

Juventus have identified the 23-year-old as their primary option to replace Wojciech Szczesny and he’s also attracted interest from abroad. Atalanta are open to a sale should an offer of around €40m arrive in the summer.

This season, the Italian goalkeeper has kept seven clean sheets and conceded just 12 goals in 16 matches across all competitions.
