Fabio Capello doesn’t think Clarence Seedorf would be the right man to replace Massimiliano Allegri at Milan.

The Dutchman, still playing for Botafogo, is being linked with the Diavolo hotseat given that tactician Allegri is set to leave at the end of the season.

“Clarence has ability and I have an excellent relationship with him,” the Russia boss told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I remember that it was me who advised him to go and play in Brazil seeing as he was thinking about the UAE and Russia a year ago.

“Evidently this experience is serving him well, but to immediately take the responsibility of the Milan job is something else.”

The 67-year-old knows all about the Milan job seeing as he bossed the San Siro giants for two spells during his glittering club career.

Seedorf, meanwhile, spent a decade in the Milan midfield before leaving for South American in the summer of 2012 once his contract had expired.
