Salernitana are closing in on three big transfer deals for Sampdoria winger Antonio Candreva, RC Strasbourg striker Habib Diallo and Espanyol midfielder Tonny Vilhena.

The club is panicking a little on the market after their First Round Coppa Italia exit to Parma, beaten 2-0 at home.

They are working to bring in reinforcements for coach Davide Nicola and are reportedly on the verge of three intriguing swoops.

According to Tuttomercatoweb and others, Candreva is close to making the switch and sign a two-year contract.

The fee would be small, as the 35-year-old is only under contract until June 2023.

Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia suggests Salernitana are also in advanced negotiations with Espanyol for Vilhena, who would arrive on loan with option to buy.

He could even be flying in for a medical on Wednesday, the loan fee set at €300,000 and the option to buy at €3.5m.

Another new addition at the Stadio Arechi reported by Sky Sport Italia is RC Strasbourg striker Diallo, who would be a permanent move at a cost of €12m.

The 27-year-old Senegal international moved from FC Metz to Strasbourg in 2020 for €10m and already scored in his opening Ligue 1 game of the season.
