Watch Francesco Calzona’s first training session as the new Napoli coach on the eve of a Champions League game against Barcelona.
The 55-year-old was appointed by the Partenopei on Monday evening and signed a four-month contract. He is the current Slovakia coach and has remained in charge of the national team.
A former assistant to Maurizio Sarri and Luciano Spalletti at Napoli, Calzona took charge of his first training session on Tuesday on the eve of a Champions League Round of 16 tie against Barcelona.
As usual, on the eve of European matches, the first 15 minutes of every training session are open to the media, so pictures and videos of Calzona’s first day as Napoli coach are circulating on social media thanks to reporters at Castel Volturno.
Calzona will hold a pre-match press conference from the Stadio Maradona later today.
