Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir will officiate Tuesday’s Champions League play-off between PSV and Milan.

The first leg will be played in Eindhoven with the decider at San Siro on August 28.

Today UEFA announced that Cakir of Turkey has been assigned to the match in Holland.

He is familiar to some of the Milan players, as he was in charge of Italy-Republic of Ireland in Euro 2012.

More famously, he controversially sent off Nani in the Champions League Manchester United-Real Madrid tie last season.

Cakir is assisted by Bahattin Duran and Tarik Ongun.
