Cagliari are close to signing Nacional midfielder Christian Oliva for a reported €5m.
According to Sky Sport Italia, negotiations have ‘accelerated’ between Cagliari and Nacional in the last few hours.
Oliva is now set to undergo a medical with the Rossoblu before putting pen to paper, while the transfer fee would exclude bonuses.
The 22-year-old has made 43 appearances for Nacional since but has yet to represent his native Uruguay.
