“We know it’s going to be a difficult match, but we want to win just as much as Milan do,” the defender told Milan TV.
“Piatek is a big loss, because he is a player who scored many goals, but we have other strong forwards who can fill the gap today.”
It’s entirely possible Piatek has already played his last game for Genoa, as he is expected to join Milan on Tuesday in a deal worth €35m plus bonuses.
