Gianluigi Buffon is still one of the best goalkeepers in the world, according to his Juventus teammate Sami Khedira.

Buffon’s season has been smudged by a couple of high-profile mistakes, with critics citing his 38 years as a reason for his drop in performance levels, but Khedira insists the veteran remains one of the globe’s top goalkeepers.

“The Champions League is my big dream, our dream, but it’s difficult: there are 10 other teams who have the same objective,” the midfielder told Premium Sport.
