Juventus captain Gianluigi Buffon insists “there’s no perfect recipe” for success.
The goalkeeper attended the Pergamena dello Sport event in Turin today, and was asked for advice when speaking to the audience.
“I can’t offer any advice,” Buffon said.
“There’s no perfect recipe, because everyone has a different identity. One thing I’ve come to realise is that when I was growing up, sport was a pure delight for me, then as I’ve grown up it’s become a serious thing.

“There’s no perfect recipe, because everyone has a different identity. One thing I’ve come to realise is that when I was growing up, sport was a pure delight for me, then as I’ve grown up it’s become a serious thing.
“It’s not very romantic, but there it is. Like all serious things you have to be totally dedicated to improve, and in my case to help the group improve.
“The only advice I can give you is to face things seriously.”
