Gianluigi Buffon says “it’s always a pleasure” to face Real Madrid, as Juventus could draw the Spanish giants in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Buffon’s last appearance against Madrid saw him shown an injury-time red card during the second leg of Juve’s quarter-final tie in the tournament two seasons ago.
The Bianconeri ended up crashing out 7-6 on aggregate to a last-gasp Cristiano Ronaldo penalty, and they can inflict their revenge on Los Blancos in the Round of 16 this term.

“It’s always a pleasure meeting Real Madrid,” the goalkeeper told Tuttosport. “The respect I have for their history and their players is huge.
“Despite how it ended last time in Madrid, I look back at that game with a positive mindset. It was an example of determination and strength.
“So, in that case, two fantastic teams would meet again.”
The 41-year-old was back between the sticks during the 2-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen – his first Champions League game for the Old Lady since that match with Madrid.
