Italy and Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon says ‘I pose myself no limits’ and wants the Azzurri to have ‘no regrets’ after Euro 2016.

The 37-year-old is set to lead Antonio Conte’s side at next summer’s European championships in France, but believes his ‘fighting spirit’ will see him continue to play for years.

“From here until Euro 2016 I expect a process of growth that must culminate at the tournament itself, with no regrets,” he said at an event for the presentation of the Azzurri's new kit.

“This doesn't mean that we have to win the Euros, but we have to get to the end without leaving anything by the side, giving it everything we've got.

“I've reached a certain age, it's true. But I still have a strong fighting spirit. I couldn't say how far I'm going to get.

“As long as I'll be taking to the pitch with a certain drive, with the desire that I feel in me now, and as long as I'll have a certain physical condition and certain emotions, then I'll keep going.

“I pose myself no limits. Otherwise, I'll be quick to bid everyone farewell.”
