Juventus captain Gianluigi Buffon has bid an emotional farewell to Andrea Pirlo after the midfielder joined New York City yesterday.
The Italy goalkeeper sent the message out on his Twitter account this morning, in which he thanked his friend and wished him luck.
“They’ve used different words to tell you goodbye and wish you many other victories; I would like to use one word gathering the whole life we lived together: Friend,” the message said.
“Good luck my friend. Good luck for your present and your future.
