Italy captain Gianluigi Buffon doesn’t understand the “fuss” around Antonio Conte’s announcement that he’s leaving.
The Azzurri CT has already been announced as the next Chelsea manager, and will leave his current position after the European Championships in France this summer.
“Having a CT whose deal is expiring is very different to a Coach,” Buffon told Premium Sport.

“The national team is the highest goal for any player, and you know that the CT doesn’t have a long shelf life. I doesn’t change anything in terms of the players’ perception.
“I find all this fuss strange.”
