Marcelo Brozovic has sent another message out on Instagram, this one pledging his love for Inter, as he remains unconvinced by Al-Nassr and Barcelona cannot afford to match his asking price.
The situation remains in stasis and it is causing problems for everyone concerned.
Inter have agreed a sale to Al-Nassr for €23m, but the player has so far not accepted the €20m per season contract for three years.
He would instead want a two-year deal, but with the same overall €60m salary package.
Above all, Brozovic is unconvinced by the idea of going to the Saudi Pro League at the age of 30, just months after playing a World Cup semi-final and a Champions League Final.
The Croatia international would prefer a move to Barcelona, who cannot afford to bid more than €15-18m to Inter for his signature, and a salary at €10m per season.
Brozovic is still under contract with Inter until June 2026 and he seemed to respond to the many messages from fans with a picture of him in the Nerazzurri jersey, along with hearts in the club’s blue and black colours.
He has been posting Instagram Stories messages all day, including one warning people to ‘stay tuned’ and another using an Al Pacino meme.
