Juventus did not take up their option to buy Leandro Paredes, but the Paris Saint-Germain man is ready to snub Galatasaray for Lazio instead.
The midfielder spent this season in Turin on loan with an option to buy for €22.6m, which the Old Lady did not activate.
It still proved costly and they had to pay PSG €3m for the loan spell.
Now Paredes is down to the final year of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and has been linked with a potential transfer to Galatasaray.
However, Sky Sport Italia claim this evening that the Argentina international is eager to remain in Italy, where he already played in Serie A for Palermo and Roma.
He also wants to play in the Champions League, so the only side that could potentially fit his requirements is Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio.
With Sergej Milinkovic-Savic on the way out this summer, Paredes could be a useful addition at a low cost.
