The club’s Ultras have gone as far as suggesting that the club would rather not be involved in the preliminary rounds, as they have a pre-season tour to the USA planned.
“Sixth place is our goal,” Brocchi told reporters in his Press conference ahead of the trip to Bologna.

“Sixth place is our goal,” Brocchi told reporters in his Press conference ahead of the trip to Bologna.
“Tomorrow I want to see the right attitude from the team. The team wants to reach the Europa League, that’s not up for discussion.
“Seeing the way they work during the week I can’t believe it’s the opposite.
“The lads worked well this week and showed great desire. I got the answers I wanted, I hope to see all these good things in the game.”
Brocchi replaced Sinisa Mihajlovic last month, but has struggled, losing to Verona and drawing with Frosinone.
“I never thought this would be easy, but it’s beautiful and exciting. I’m going through everything with great calm and determination.
“Coaching in Serie A is not easy for me, nor is it for anyone. I’m here because I have a great love for this club and I’m doing my best.
“Against Frosinone the result wasn’t positive, we immediately conceded goals, then missed a penalty and went down 3-1.
“That would have killed-off a lot of teams, but we reacted and we almost won the game at the end.
“I’ve watched the game back four or five times, and with my staff we picked out the positive and negative aspects.
“The President [Silvio Berlusconi] knows what we’re doing. Results influence the opinion of matches, but I think we saw something different against Frosinone.
“We created a lot, we had plenty of possession. I think we saw some good things.”
