Brazil Coach Carlos Dunga has named Norberto Neto and Rafael Cabral in his latest squad, with no place for Douglas Maicon.

The Roma full-back was sent home from the Selecao halfway through their last set of international fixtures for an unspecified disciplinary reason and has subsequently missed out on a call-up to the national team for friendlies away to Turkey and Austria next month.

The squad, named today by Coach Dunga, does include two Serie A names in the form of Napoli goalkeeper Rafael and Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”12″>Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto.

Rafael keeps his place, whilst Neto is in contention for his senior debut, having only been capped previously at Under-23 level.

Luiz Adriano, who scored five goals for Shakhtar Donetsk against BATE in the Champions League, is the major novelty.

“Maicon was not a victim of the rulebook,” Dunga told the press during his press conference today.

“But [not calling up] it was a response to his attitude. Each is responsible for his actions, here we have harmony and organisation.”
