Earlier this afternoon, President Moratti declared “the English FA wouldn't consent to Capello's arrival. They blocked everything as they want to keep him with them at all costs.”
That is a completely different picture to the one painted by technical director Branca, who has returned from his failed attempts to sign Porto – and imminent Chelsea – boss Andre Villas-Boas.

“I can confirm that Inter has not contacted Fabio Capello or the English FA,” Branca told Press Association Sport.
“We are not interested in Capello. There are still no developments on the coaching front.”
There is other news filtering through from one of the top candidates, Turkey manager Hiddink.
“Hiddink has a contract with Turkey so, before any talks, Moratti must first express his interest to the Turkish FA,” Cees Van Nieuwenhuizen told Gazzetta.it.
“The only way that Hiddink would evaluate a Nerazzurri offer is if an agreement can be reached between Inter and Turkey.
“However, Hiddink is a professional and he has never broken a contract in his entire career.”
It is rumoured Hiddink could be freed for a €6m buy-out fee.
