Michael Bradley says he’s taking inspiration from Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi in an effort to prove his worth at Roma.

The midfielder moved to the Stadio Olimpico this summer from Chievo in a €3.75m deal. He’s one of numerous new faces following the appointment of Zdenek Zeman as Coach.

“It is a dream to be here at this club,” the American told Sky Sport Italia. “I’ve settled in well and I can’t wait to start the season.

“Zeman is looking to introduce his style of football to the team, but it will be then up to us to perform out there.

“There are great champions at this club like Totti and De Rossi, players with great experience. They are leaders for me and we must follow them.”

Totti and De Rossi, club captain and vice-captain, are Romans who were brought up through the youth system at Trigoria.
