With relegation now looking inevitable, the Rosanero Coach has called on his players to find a way of giving a better performance level until the end of the season.

"Each and every one of the players needs to find a way to finish the season at a high level," Bortoluzzi said at his post match media briefing.

"It was a day to forget, next time we hope to offer up a good performance.

"Today, a little bit of everything was missing."

Following this latest defeat and wins for both Empoli and Crotone, Palermo are 13 points adrift of safety with just five matches of the campaign remaining. Their relegation to Serie B could be confirmed as early as next weekend.
