Earlier today it was rumoured that Inter had shown an interest in the former Italian international, but Sky Sport Italia now claim his destination is the red and black side of San Siro.
It’s suggested that Milan will take Borriello on loan, though there are some problems still to be worked out.
Sky Sport Italia believe Roma would have to pay a percentage of his wages during the loan period and he still has some issues with a few members of the squad.
Borriello first joined Milan in 2003-04, going out on loan to Reggina, Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”14″>Sampdoria, Treviso and Genoa before returning from 2008 to 2010.
The centre-forward went to Roma in August 2010 with a year’s loan and compulsory €10m buy-out clause.
